This is a Los Cabos trip for people who want more than a pool chair and a swim-up bar. It moves between the art-filled streets of San José del Cabo, the organic farmland of the East Cape, the surf-beaten Pacific coast, and one of the most biodiverse marine parks in the world — giving you a real read on the peninsula across three or four days. It works well for couples, small groups of friends, or solo travelers who like structure without rigidity.
Start in San José: walk the Art District (id=889) on a Thursday evening when the galleries open late, then spend a morning in the historic Pueblo Mágico center (id=884) before the tour buses arrive. Head inland to Flora Farms (id=868) to see the working organic farm, then stay for dinner at the Flora Farms Restaurant (id=891) — one of the better farm-to-table meals in all of Mexico. On your way up the Baja coast, stop at Cerritos Beach (id=871) and, if the swell cooperates, book a session at the Cerritos Surf Break (id=892). The cultural detour into Todos Santos (id=869) adds colonial architecture and gallery browsing without much extra driving. Back on the Sea of Cortez side, Cabo Pulmo delivers whether you're snorkeling (id=867) or diving (id=881) — the reef is the oldest on the West Coast of North America. Round out the trip with a whale watching run (id=880, seasonal, December–April) or a guided immersive history session at The Immersive Museum (id=886), and a debrief with the local experts at Baja Outpost (id=893) who can sharpen any logistics on the fly.
