A naturalist guide leads a small kayak group through quiet mangrove channels at first light, when birdlife and marine life are most active.
What to expect
You launch just after sunrise, paddling silently through tunnels of mangrove roots as herons, rays, and the occasional dolphin appear in the still water. Your guide, trained in marine biology, points out species and explains the ecosystem's role in protecting the coastline. The tour ends with fresh coffee and pastries at a quiet dockside spot before you're returned to port.
Good to know
Departure is early, typically 6:30 AM, to catch calm water and active wildlife; this also guarantees an easy return well before all-aboard. Book at least 1 week ahead as spots are limited.
