Meet the winemaker at a family estate for a private tasting of small-batch wines paired with regional bites. A slow, sensory afternoon among the vines.
What to expect
You'll be welcomed onto the estate grounds and walked through the vineyard rows while the winemaker explains the terroir and harvest. In the cool stone cellar, you taste six wines matched with cured meats, cheeses, and olive oil from the property. Conversation is unhurried, often stretching into stories of the estate's generations. You leave with a sense of place rarely felt on a standard tasting circuit.
Good to know
Estate is roughly 20 minutes by private transfer from the port, arranged on request. Best booked for late morning to allow a relaxed lunch pairing. Reserve at least 4 days in advance as groups are limited to 8.
