Explore the southernmost national park on Earth — ancient lenga-beech forests, beaver-dammed rivers and the raw shore of Lapataia Bay — in total privacy with a dedicated Fuegian naturalist. Darwin walked these same trails in 1833.
What to expect
Your private guide collects you dockside and drives the 12 km into the park, stopping first at Laguna Verde where flamingos occasionally feed in season. Ancient southern-beech forest closes over the trail as you hike to the río Lapataia delta, carpeted in wildflowers. Lunch is taken overlooking Lago Roca — still, mirror-calm and ringed by mountains. The afternoon leads to Lapataia Bay, where the famous 'Fin del Mundo' sign marks the absolute southern end of the Pan-American Highway — a photograph worth crossing an ocean for.
