Kiribati Island: Sunrise Kayak & Coral Atoll Snorkel

Paddle through the glassy lagoons of one of the world's most remote coral atolls at sunrise, then free-dive into pristine reef gardens teeming with manta rays and reef sharks — virtually untouched by mass tourism.

What to expect

A certified marine naturalist guide leads the group on stable sea kayaks from a private beach launch at first light, narrating the ecology of the atoll and its precarious existence at sea level. After 90 minutes of paddling through mangrove channels, guests kit up with premium snorkel gear to explore a protected coral bommie dense with Napoleon wrasse, hawksbill turtles, and chromis clouds. A light tropical breakfast with fresh coconut and local fruit is served on the beach before return. Water temperatures average 28–30°C year-round.
