Drop below the postcard view and experience Lunenburg's dramatic coastline from the water — a naturalist-guided zodiac along sea caves and seal haul-outs, followed by a kayak glide through the mirror-calm Blue Rocks archipelago.
What to expect
The zodiac departs Lunenburg Harbour and hugs the rugged Atlantic shoreline, passing sea arches, barnacled cliffs, and the colourful dories of working fishermen. Grey seals loll on rocky outcrops with supreme indifference to the boat; your naturalist identifies seabird colonies and explains the glacial carving of every cove. The Blue Rocks section transitions to silence — paddling single-file through a labyrinth of smooth granite islets, the water so clear you trace the kelp forests below. It is the definition of unhurried luxury: wild, beautiful, and entirely your own.
