Ascend to 1,500m above the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord on a private Dalsnibba mountain tour, then scan the sky for the rare white-tailed sea eagle. The cascade of Seven Sisters waterfall framed by snow-capped peaks is the defining image of Norway.
What to expect
Your private guide collects you dockside and winds up the legendary Nibbevegen toll road, stopping at every dramatic hairpin for unobstructed panoramas. At the Dalsnibba plateau, silence and space reward you — the entire Geirangerfjord lies 1,500 metres below. On the descent, a local wildlife guide joins to scan the cliff faces for white-tailed sea eagles, Norway's largest bird of prey. Back in the village you'll have time for an artisan coffee before all-aboard.
Good to know
Geiranger is a tender port; allow 15 mins each way. Dalsnibba road is seasonal (typically May–Oct). Pre-book the private vehicle add-on directly with Geiranger Fjordservice at least 30 days ahead. All-aboard is typically 17:00–18:00; the full experience runs ~4 hrs.
