Glide across the sheltered, island-studded Navarino Bay aboard a crewed luxury catamaran as the sun melts into the Ionian horizon. This private sail past Sphacteria Island and the sunken Ottoman fleet is equal parts history and pure Aegean glamour.
What to expect
You board your crewed catamaran steps from the port and set sail into the perfectly calm bay, sails filling with the afternoon sea breeze. The captain narrates the 1827 Battle of Navarino as you pass the island of Sphacteria, where the wrecks of the Ottoman fleet still lie beneath the turquoise shallows. Two swim stops in private coves give you Ionian water in its most pristine form. As the sun sets behind the Venetian castle, the crew opens a bottle of chilled local wine. You dock just in time for all-aboard.
