What to expect
After a 15-minute briefing and fitting at the launch point near Pylos port, your guide leads the group south along the headland where sheer cliffs drop into impossibly clear water. You thread through a series of arched sea caves, the turquoise glow inside so vivid it seems artificial. A mid-point stop on a private rock platform calls for a swim in open Ionian water before the return paddle. The guide identifies local bird species and explains the geology of the Hellenic Trench system beneath your hull. No prior kayaking experience is required.
