Board a small dinghy from Porto Rotondo for a 3.5-hour evening cruise past the limestone monolith of Tavolara, around wild Molara island, and back along the dramatic cliffs of Capo Figari — all ending with a golden-hour aperitivo on the water.
What to expect
The tour departs Porto Rotondo (15 min by taxi from Golfo Aranci port) in the late afternoon when the sea flattens to glass. Tavolara — technically the world's smallest kingdom — is approached up close so its 565-metre wall fills the horizon. The skipper idles while you swim off Molara before continuing to Capo Figari as the sun dips. Prosecco, local cheeses and cured meats are served aboard at anchor during the golden hour. Dolphin sightings in the strait between Tavolara and the mainland are common.
Good to know
Departure is typically ~17:00, returning ~20:30 — verify the exact schedule aligns with your ship's all-aboard. Pick-up point is Porto Rotondo marina; a taxi from Golfo Aranci runs approximately EUR 20. Pre-book online as small dinghy spots sell out fast.
