Join a small-group expedition to the Cabrera Archipelago, Spain's only Maritime-Terrestrial National Park — a pristine chain of uninhabited islands where the sea glows with protected marine life. Snorkel in crystal waters, hike to a medieval castle, and experience a wilderness virtually unchanged for centuries.
What to expect
The boat departs from Colònia de Sant Jordi (1 hour south of Palma by transfer) and crosses to the main island of Cabrera in about 45 minutes. The national park ranger briefs guests on the archipelago's extraordinary ecology — monk seals, Eleonora's falcons, and endemic lizards. You snorkel in waters so clear the seabed at 15 metres looks like 3, then hike to the 14th-century castle ruin for panoramic views across the protected waters. A simple but excellent Mallorcan lunch is served on board on the return crossing.
Good to know
This is a full-day excursion (approximately 8 hours). Arrange a private taxi or driver from the cruise terminal to Colònia de Sant Jordi (approx. 1 hour). Cabrera permits are strictly limited and sell out weeks — sometimes months — in advance; book as early as possible. Confirm your all-aboard time carefully; this is a full-day commitment and timing must be planned precisely.
