Walk the cobblestoned streets where the Titanic's final passengers boarded their tender on April 11, 1912. A specialist walking guide brings the port's extraordinary emigration story — and its Titanic last chapter — vividly to life.
What to expect
The tour begins at the deep-water White Star Wharf where the Titanic tendered, then winds up through Cobh's famous multicoloured Georgian terraces to the neo-Gothic St Colman's Cathedral with its 49-bell carillon. Your guide recounts individual passenger stories — third-class emigrants, crew, and survivors — against the backdrop of the actual quayside they stood on. The 90-minute walk covers 16 key historical sites and concludes at the cobbled town square, leaving you free to explore the Titanic Experience Cobh if time allows.
