Walk the weathered film set where the original Pirates of the Caribbean was shot at Wallilabou Anchorage — cannons, ship rigging, and colonial façades still intact — then swim in a sheltered bay fringed by jungle.
What to expect
The 45-minute coastal drive north is itself spectacular — cliffs plunging to turquoise coves, banana and coconut plantations rolling down to the sea. At Wallilabou you walk among the original Pirates of the Caribbean film props: the jail, the blacksmith's forge, the dockside capstans. The sheltered anchorage is usually dotted with sailing yachts, adding to the swashbuckling atmosphere. After exploring, cool off in the calm, crystal bay before the scenic return to Kingstown.
