Wade into a pristine Southeast Alaska salmon river under the guidance of a master fly-fishing outfitter, targeting wild Dolly Varden, silver salmon, and pink salmon in watersheds most visitors never reach. A true wilderness fishing privilege.
What to expect
Your licensed guide outfits you with quality fly gear and leads you to one of the region's legendary salmon runs, reading the river for holding pools and feeding lanes. The backdrop — old-growth Sitka spruce, snow-capped peaks, and the silence of genuine wilderness — is as memorable as the fishing itself. Bears working the opposite bank are a common and thrilling sight during salmon season. All fish are catch-and-release unless you arrange to have your catch cleaned and packed for travel.
