Disenchantment Bay Kayak Expedition Among Icebergs

Paddle a sea kayak through Disenchantment Bay's iceberg-strewn waters with the Hubbard Glacier as your backdrop. This intimate, human-powered perspective on Alaska's most dramatic glacial bay is as bucket-list as it gets.

What to expect

After a comprehensive safety briefing and dry-suit fitting, you'll launch your stable sea kayak directly into iceberg-laced waters of Disenchantment Bay. Your expert guide leads the group past sculpted bergy bits, pointing out birdlife perched on ice and seals hauled out nearby. The route winds toward the glacier terminus for dramatic close-up photography. The pace is relaxed and exploratory, not athletic.
