Snorkeling Catamaran Cruise: Loreto Bay Marine Park

Board a sleek catamaran and sail into Loreto Bay National Marine Park — one of Jacques Cousteau's 'aquarium of the world' — for an afternoon of world-class snorkelling, dolphin watching, and sundowner sailing on the Sea of Cortez.

What to expect

The catamaran glides out of Loreto's marina past the striking backdrop of the sierra, with resident bottlenose dolphins frequently riding the bow wave. At anchor within the Marine Park, guests slip into warm, gin-clear water above living reefs alive with tropical fish. Snorkel gear, instruction, and onboard refreshments are provided. The sail back to port — often bathed in late-afternoon gold light — is a pure Baja moment.

Good to know

Tours run approximately 4 hours; check exact timing against your all-aboard. Reef-safe sunscreen is strongly encouraged (and sometimes required) within the Marine Park. Book directly in advance — catamaran capacity is limited and this is consistently one of the most sought-after departures from Loreto.
