Private Photography Masterclass: Arctic Light & Seascape

A dedicated private Zodiac session with a professional Arctic expedition photographer, composed around the extraordinary light that plays over the Lower Savages' quartzite cliffs and ice-laden waters. Return with portfolio-worthy images and expert post-processing guidance.

What to expect

You board a Zodiac configured for stability and silence, equipped with beanbag rests and wrist-lanyard mounts. The photographer identifies the morning's best light angles — often the north-facing quartzite faces catching low Arctic sun — and coaches framing, exposure, and focal-length choice in real time. Sessions include dramatic cliff-base drifts for abstract kelp and rock textures, and open-water compositions with icebergs as natural sculpture. That evening a private 60-minute image review session on your device is included.

Good to know

Bring your own camera body; the operator supplies all mount accessories. Pre-book at least 60 days in advance as slots are extremely limited. Dawn departures (around 05:30–06:00 in summer) yield the most spectacular light; confirm against your ship's all-aboard.
