Join an exclusive, photographer-led Zodiac circuit of Croker Bay's icebergs, fjord walls, and wildlife hotspots — framing shots that most photographers will never have the chance to take. This is the High Arctic as a living, light-drenched studio.
What to expect
The expedition begins with a pre-departure briefing on Arctic light conditions and camera settings. The Zodiac then navigates slowly along iceberg alleys and beneath the cliffs where kittiwakes and thick-billed murres nest in their thousands. The guide calls out wildlife ahead and positions the craft for 360° compositions. At select bergs, the captain holds station while guests shoot in near-silence. A post-excursion image review session is offered on request.
Good to know
Bring a camera with a 70–300 mm zoom as a minimum; the guide carries a spare mirrorless body. Book the private charter well in advance for itinerary control. Check tide and ice conditions 48 hours before — the operator will advise on timing relative to your vessel's all-aboard.
