Spend a luxurious half-day watching world-class surfers ride Atlantic swells from a cliffside café in Taghazout, then return to Agadir's vast Souk El Had for hand-ground spices, Amazigh jewellery, and argan oil direct from a cooperative.
What to expect
Your private guide drives the spectacular coastal road north to Taghazout, stopping at the headland where a small café serves fresh-pressed orange juice and argan amlou (almond-honey dip) while surfers carve the famous Anchor Point break below. After a leisurely lunch of grilled fish at a harbourside restaurant, the afternoon is spent in Souk El Had — 6,000 stalls condensed into a labyrinth of colour, scent, and craft. Your guide negotiates fair prices and translates the stories behind each artisan's work.
Good to know
Half-day tour (4–5 hrs) easily fits most port schedules; confirm your all-aboard and the guide will plan backward from it. The souk is busiest and most atmospheric on Sundays. Bring MAD cash for market purchases — most artisan stalls don't take cards.
