Ride up into the misty Sierra Madre to a family-owned shade-grown coffee finca, harvest beans by hand, and sit down to a guided expert cupping of Oaxaca's most celebrated single-origin coffees. A sensory journey that explains why Mexican specialty coffee is reshaping global café culture.
What to expect
A private vehicle collects you at the pier and winds up through cloud forest to a working finca at 800 m elevation. The owner — a certified Q-Grader — walks you through every stage from cherry to cup, letting you pick ripe fruit from the trees and roast a small batch over an open flame. A cupping session with five single-origin micro-lots follows, paired with traditional Oaxacan pan dulce. The on-farm view of the Pacific coast below is alone worth the trip.
