Paddle a single-kayak into the electric-blue sea grottos of Rosh Hanikra at dawn, threading through chalk arches and surging caverns that glow turquoise as the first light hits the water — one of the most visually spectacular paddle experiences in the Mediterranean.
What to expect
Your certified sea-kayak guide briefs you at the Rosh Hanikra beach launch, fits you with a buoyancy aid, and leads a small group (max 6) along the chalk cliff face. You paddle through the outer arch into the largest grotto, where the ceiling turns the light a surreal electric blue. The guide points out nesting seabirds and, in season, monk-seal sightings. The return paddle hugs the cliff, passing the old WWII railway tunnel entrance before landing back on the pebble beach for fresh mint tea.
