Lakshadweep Sunset Dolphin Cruise on a Traditional Vallam

Board a handcrafted Kerala-style vallam outrigger as the Laccadive Sea turns gold, sailing the outer reef edge where spinner and bottlenose dolphins gather at dusk. An utterly romantic, unhurried finale to your day ashore.

What to expect

Departing the lagoon at the golden hour, the captain follows the reef's outer edge where upwellings attract baitfish — and the dolphins that chase them. Guests sit on the outrigger arms just above the waterline as pods of 20–40 spinners leap and bow-ride. The crew serves fresh king coconut and local snacks as the sky turns amber and violet. On the return, the illuminated corals below the hull glow in the last light, a quiet, perfect close to the day.
