Encounter the world's largest living lizard on a private ranger-guided trek through Komodo National Park, then sail 25 minutes by traditional wooden boat to the legendary Pink Beach for snorkelling in crystalline waters.
What to expect
Your licensed ranger leads you through savannah trails where Komodo dragons roam freely — adults can reach 3 metres and 70 kg. After the trek, a traditional phinisi wooden boat glides you to Pink Beach, where rare red coral fragments give the sand its blush hue. Snorkelling reveals manta rays, reef sharks, and technicolour coral gardens. The return sail at golden hour with the volcanic silhouette of Rinca Island is a moment that defines the voyage.
Good to know
Komodo Island is reachable by speedboat (approx. 1.5 hrs from Labuan Bajo). Book your private ranger at least 48 hours ahead; dragon sightings are best 07:00–10:00. Confirm all-aboard time before departure — allow a 3-hour buffer minimum.
