Glide between two UNESCO-worthy cities — baroque Olinda on its hilltop and canal-laced Recife Antigo — with a dedicated English-speaking guide and private vehicle. A rare chance to read 500 years of colonial Brazil at your own pace.
What to expect
Your private guide and air-conditioned vehicle collect you dockside and whisk you first to Recife Antigo, where the original Dutch and Portuguese grid meets the sea at Marco Zero. You cross the iconic bridges to Casa da Cultura — a former jail reborn as a craft market — before heading north to Olinda, a UNESCO World Heritage hilltop town of whitewashed churches, mango trees and sweeping Atlantic views. The pace is entirely yours: pause for a coconut water, photograph the azulejo-tiled facades, or step inside the 17th-century Sé Cathedral. An optional catamaran ride on the Capibaribe River can be added for a waterside finale.
Good to know
The full tour runs approximately 5–6 hours, comfortably within a typical port day. Pre-book directly with Gray Line Recife and confirm your all-aboard time so they can plan the return leg. Private transfers back to the port are included.
