What to expect
A short transfer from Mindelo port brings you to the wind-sculpted bay of São Pedro, a favourite haunt of resident loggerhead turtles. Your guide briefs you on responsible wildlife interaction before you enter the warm, gin-clear water. Turtles glide past at arm's length, completely at ease. The bay's shallow reef also hosts rays and vibrant reef fish. Back on the beach, fresh water and towels are provided before your return to port.
