Roar out of Dingle Harbour aboard a rigid inflatable to meet Fungie's successors — wild bottlenose dolphins — amid some of the most breathtaking Atlantic coastline in Europe.
What to expect
Suited up in a dry-suit and life jacket, you blast out of Dingle past colourful fishing trawlers into open Atlantic water. Dolphins frequently bow-ride just metres away. The extended safari follows the peninsula's dramatic coastline to the Blasket Islands sound, where grey seals haul out on rocks and gannets dive-bomb the water. Your skipper — a local fisherman — narrates with genuine, salt-weathered knowledge. Returning to the harbour through the narrow channel as the town glows in afternoon light is pure Kerry magic.
