GeoSea Geothermal Sea Baths: Private Infinity Pool Over the Arctic

Sink into mineral-rich geothermal seawater in infinity pools perched on a lava headland with unbroken views over Skjálfandi Bay. GeoSea is Iceland's most dramatic bathing experience — pure, unhurried, and utterly restorative.

What to expect

The pools are fed directly by geothermal seawater at 36–39°C and sit on a dramatic cliff edge overlooking Skjálfandi Bay, where you may spot the distant spouts of whales you watched earlier. The design is understated Icelandic luxury — natural stone, clean lines, a swim-up bar serving Icelandic craft beer and wine. Arrive just after opening or in the late afternoon when the golden Arctic light turns the bay into hammered copper. The on-site café serves light bites and local spirits.
