Slip beneath the surface of the remote central Pacific — some of the planet's least-dived waters — on a private guided snorkel with a marine biologist. Vibrant coral gardens and rare pelagic species await in near-pristine conditions.
What to expect
Your marine biologist guide briefs you on the unique ecology of central Pacific reef systems before entering the water with premium, individually fitted snorkel gear. Beneath the surface, near-virgin coral formations host an astonishing array of life: parrotfish, reef sharks, sea turtles, and rare nudibranch species that rarely appear in more-visited Pacific destinations. The guide narrates throughout via an underwater communication device, turning every sighting into a meaningful discovery. Post-snorkel, fresh tropical fruit and chilled coconut water are served aboard the tender as the marine biologist shares imagery and species identification cards to take home.
Good to know
Best undertaken in the morning when visibility is at its peak (often exceeding 30 metres in these waters). Non-swimmers can participate with a flotation vest. Reef-safe sunscreen is mandatory — bring your own or purchase on board. Allow 3 hours total including briefing and post-snorkel refreshments.
