Soberanía National Park: Aerial Tram & Rainforest Canopy Walk

Soar above one of the Americas' most biodiverse rainforests on an open gondola tram that lifts you into the jungle canopy alongside Panama Canal's watershed — home to 400+ bird species, howler monkeys, sloths, and iridescent morpho butterflies.

What to expect

The gondola ascends silently through five distinct forest strata, with your naturalist guide spotting toucans, keel-billed motmots, and — if you are very fortunate — a harpy eagle overhead. At the summit observation tower, the canal shimmers silver in the valley below, cargo ships threading through a corridor of unbroken jungle. Descend via a looping canopy walkway suspended 35 metres above the forest floor before a guided trail reveals leaf-cutter ants, poison-dart frogs, and the extraordinary complexity of a living canal ecosystem.
