Descend to the wreck of the Bianca C — a 183-metre Italian ocean liner that sank in 1961 and is now a legendary Caribbean dive site, encrusted in coral and alive with marine life.
What to expect
The Bianca C lies at 29–50 metres off Point Salines — the upper superstructure accessible to advanced Open Water divers, the prop deck to those with deeper certifications. Aquanauts' PADI-certified divemasters brief you on the site's history and marine ecology aboard the boat before descent. Underwater, the scale is staggering: the ship's funnel, staircases, and engine rooms now host enormous sea fans, black coral, hawksbill turtles, and schools of barracuda. Surface interval is spent drifting over a shallower reef teeming with reef fish.
Good to know
A minimum certification of PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) is required for the deepest sections; Rescue Diver recommended. Book direct with Aquanauts and declare your certification level upfront. Dive site is a short 10-min boat ride from Grand Anse Beach. Allow 4 hours total; confirm all-aboard time before booking.
