Grenada's Underwater Sculpture Park: Private Snorkel & Dive

Descend into one of the world's most extraordinary subaquatic galleries — Jason deCaires Taylor's hauntingly beautiful life-cast figures resting on the sea floor off Molinière Bay. Equal parts art installation and coral reef, it appears on every serious Caribbean bucket list.

What to expect

A short 10-minute boat ride from St George's delivers you to the park's two sites: the shallower Molinière Underwater Sculpture Garden (ideal for snorkellers) and the deeper Vicissitudes circle of 65 hand-holding children (for certified divers). Your PADI instructor provides full site briefing and underwater guidance, pointing out resident seahorses, eagle rays, and the gradual coral encrustation that makes each visit unique. Post-dive, the boat pauses at a pristine reef for open free-swimming before returning to the dock.

Good to know

Dive Grenada is a 5-minute walk from the St George's cruise berth. Book the first morning slot (usually 09:00) to beat surface chop and enjoy the clearest visibility. Certified divers should bring their PADI card; snorkel gear is provided but bring an underwater camera or rent a GoPro on site.
