Snorkel into the legendary Bubble Cave — a submerged limestone cathedral where air pockets shimmer on the ceiling and tropical fish school in shafts of blue light. One of the Pacific's most extraordinary underwater encounters.
What to expect
You enter the cave via a short swim through a low archway, emerging into an air pocket inside a vast limestone chamber draped in stalactites — surreal above the waterline and electric below it. Guides point out endemic Niuean fish species, nudibranchs and the resident sea kraits that glide effortlessly past. The surrounding sea track offers secondary snorkel spots along fossilised coral terraces teeming with reef life. All equipment — premium masks, fins and safety lines — is provided.
Good to know
The cave entry requires confident swimming ability; not suitable for non-swimmers. Sessions are tide-dependent — Niue Dive will confirm the optimal slot once you share your ship's schedule. Book at least 2–3 weeks ahead for cruise-day slots.
