Sea Kayaking Among Antarctic Pack Ice & Wildlife

Paddle a sea kayak through mirror-still Antarctic waters flanked by pack ice, breaching humpbacks, and waddling penguins porpoising alongside your hull. A profoundly silent, deeply personal way to inhabit the world's last great wilderness.

What to expect

Outfitted in a dry suit and double kayak with a paddle partner, you glide alongside growlers and bergy bits that creak and groan as they melt. Guides keep you at a respectful distance from wildlife, yet penguins are famously curious and will often approach on their own terms. Sessions typically last two to three hours per outing, with multiple opportunities throughout the expedition. The silence between paddle strokes is absolute.
