Glide silently among cathedral-blue icebergs on a private Zodiac, threading ancient fjord channels only small craft can reach. This is Greenland at its most primordial — intimate, cinematic, and utterly unrepeatable.
What to expect
Your certified Arctic guide pilots a rigid inflatable directly into the fjord's ice-choked heart, cutting the engine so you can hear bergs creak and calve. The guide reads the ice and weather in real time, choosing channels that larger vessels cannot enter. You may drift within metres of turquoise ice formations the size of a house. Life-jackets, dry suits, and hot drinks are included for comfort in Arctic conditions.
Good to know
Book well in advance; departures are weather-dependent and the guide will confirm the morning of. Allow 3–4 hours and ensure you return at least 90 minutes before all-aboard. Waterproof layers and grip-sole boots are essential.
