Board a high-powered RIB and circumnavigate the sea-stacks of St. Kilda at water level, eye-to-eye with the world's largest Atlantic gannet colony and over a million puffins in breeding season. An unrivalled wildlife spectacle on the edge of Europe.
What to expect
Kitted out in a dry suit and safety gear, you rocket westward across the Minch and Atlantic approaches, the RIB skimming swells as the extraordinary outline of Hirta rises from the ocean. The skipper and wildlife guide bring you close to sheer 400-metre cliffs alive with fulmars, razorbills, guillemots, and the unforgettable theatre of 60,000 gannet pairs on Stac Lee. Depending on weather and permit, you may land on Hirta before the exhilarating return crossing.
