Taste Antigua's soul: a private guided journey through local rum distilleries, a working farm, and a chef-led lunch cooked from ingredients picked that morning.
What to expect
Begin at the Antigua Distillery, home of the celebrated English Harbour Rum, for a behind-the-scenes tour of copper pot stills and ageing warehouses, finishing with a guided tasting of aged expressions. Your guide then drives you to a local organic farm where a chef selects seasonal vegetables, fresh fish, and fruit. Back in a private kitchen, the chef prepares a three-course Antiguan lunch — fungi, pepperpot, and freshly caught snapper — as you watch, learn, and taste. A masterclass in Caribbean flavour.
Good to know
Allow 4–4.5 hours for the full experience. The distillery is in St. John's, walkable or a short taxi from the pier. Arrange the farm-and-chef component via a local concierge or culinary tour operator — book at least 2 weeks ahead.
