Journey north along the coast to the lush Nanoose Bay peninsula for an intimate, guide-led tasting trail through working farms, craft cideries, and artisan food producers — the farm-to-fork heart of Vancouver Island's culinary scene.
What to expect
A comfortable private vehicle whisks you 20 minutes north to the sun-drenched Nanoose Bay peninsula, where the microclimate nurtures orchards, berry farms, and some of Vancouver Island's most celebrated food artisans. You move at a leisurely pace — pressing cider, tasting estate fruit wines, sampling hand-made charcuterie and farmhouse cheeses — with the host producers sharing their stories in person. Lunch is assembled from the morning's discoveries: a spontaneous, glorious spread. The return route hugs the Strait of Georgia, with the snow-capped mainland mountains across the water.
