Conquer the 1,085 m summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) — the highest mountain in Wales and England — with a private expert mountain guide. The views from the top are among the most dramatic in Britain.
What to expect
Your Mountain Leader-qualified guide meets you at the trailhead and leads you through ancient cwms and rocky ridgelines, sharing geological and mythological lore along the way. On clear days the summit affords views stretching to Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Scottish coast. The round trip takes 6–7 hours at a comfortable pace, including a summit pause. A packed gourmet lunch can be arranged on request.
Good to know
Snowdonia is approximately 30–40 minutes by car from Criccieth; pre-arrange a private transfer. This excursion requires a reasonable level of fitness and sturdy waterproof hiking boots. Weather on the summit can change rapidly — your guide carries full safety kit. Book well in advance as private guided summit days fill quickly in the season.
