The Kornati's submerged limestone walls, ancient anchors, and rich Adriatic reef life make it one of Croatia's top dive destinations. A guided small-group dive from a dedicated local dive operator reveals the park's secret, silent world.
What to expect
A licensed Kornati dive guide leads a small group of no more than four divers to protected sites within the national park — sites that require special permits and are off-limits to independent divers. The walls off Mana and Levrnaka descend into cobalt blue past sea fans, grouper, and amberjack; macro life thrives in the crevices. Between dives, the surface interval is spent anchored in a turquoise bay with cold drinks and local cheese and ham. Night dives can be arranged for multi-day liveaboard guests or those with afternoon all-aboards.
Good to know
Certification (Open Water minimum) required; bring your dive card. National park dive permits are arranged by the operator and included in the price. Confirm all-aboard time carefully — plan for a 5–6 hour total excursion. Equipment hire available.
