Soar above the jungle canopy on a network of suspension bridges inside a 1,500-acre private conservation reserve, then descend into a secret gorge to swim in pristine waterfall pools. Rainmaker offers something Manuel Antonio cannot — true seclusion and elevation.
What to expect
The reserve rises sharply from the valley floor into mist-draped primary rainforest, and six hanging bridges — some over 100 metres long and 50 metres above the canopy — provide genuinely heart-pounding views of an unbroken green sea. Your guide navigates you down into a river gorge where a series of crystalline natural pools cascades between moss-covered boulders, perfect for a refreshing swim. Wildlife sightings — toucans, poison-dart frogs, and basilisk lizards — are reliably excellent given the park's pristine status. The whole experience feels like a private jungle kingdom.
