Glide along one of the Pacific's most dramatic coastlines aboard a private catamaran — snorkelling coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, spotting dolphins and possibly humpback whales, and raising a glass as the sun melts into the Pacific horizon.
What to expect
You cast off from Quepos Marina into warm Pacific waters flanked by the lush green headlands of Manuel Antonio National Park. The first stop is a sheltered snorkelling cove where parrotfish, angelfish, and sea turtles glide through healthy coral. Back on board, the crew shakes up the first round of rum punches and plates freshly prepared ceviche and tropical fruit as the boat continues south along the wild, uninhabited coastline. As the sun descends, the sky turns gold and pink over the park's forested hills — a scene that never photographs as beautifully as it looks in person. Dolphins are a near-nightly bonus.
