Glide through Misool's most jaw-dropping turquoise lagoon, then drift over the mythic Balbulol Plateau and Yapap Rocks — a mosaic of hard and soft corals so dense it defies belief. This is Raja Ampat snorkelling at its absolute pinnacle.
What to expect
Your expert guide reads the tidal flow and positions the boat so you drift effortlessly over gardens of fan coral, bommies draped in Christmas-tree worms, and schools of bumphead parrotfish. Balbulol Lagoon's mirrored walls of karst reflect the turquoise water in every direction. Yapap Rocks then delivers wall-to-wall fish life — Napoleon wrasse, reef sharks, and clouds of anthias. Surface intervals are spent anchored in a private cove with chilled towels and fresh coconut.
Good to know
