Drop beneath the surface of Triton Bay — one of Earth's most biodiverse marine ecosystems — for a private guided dive alongside whale sharks, wobbegong sharks, and vast schools of fish. This is Raja Ampat's quieter, wilder cousin, and almost no one gets here.
What to expect
A private speedboat departs Kokas early morning, reaching the outer bagan platforms within 40 minutes. Beneath these traditional floating fish traps, whale sharks and dozens of reef species congregate in extraordinary density. Your guide briefs you on responsible encounter etiquette, then you slip in alongside these gentle giants. Surface intervals are spent drifting over pristine coral gardens before a second dive on a nearby wall.
Good to know
Pre-book directly with Papua Diving well in advance — berths and day slots are extremely limited. All-aboard times in Kokas are typically 17:00–18:00; depart no later than 06:30 to allow full dive time and a comfortable return by 15:30. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and your dive certification card.
