Golfo Dulce Dolphin & Whale Watch: Private Charter

The Golfo Dulce is one of only four tropical fjords on earth and a permanent residence for bottlenose and spotted dolphins, with humpback whales visiting twice a year. A private charter delivers an intimate, expert-led encounter on this extraordinary inland sea.

What to expect

Board your private panga or center-console at the Golfito marina and head into the glassy waters of the Golfo Dulce. Your captain and naturalist guide scan the surface while you sip chilled drinks in the shade of the bimini canopy. Dolphins typically approach the bow; if humpbacks are in season, the captain will position you for a respectful, awe-inspiring encounter. Snorkeling stops at fringing reef are available on request.
