Snorkel alongside nesting sea turtles in a protected marine sanctuary, guided by a certified marine biologist. A rare, conservation-first wildlife encounter that stays with you for life.
What to expect
A marine biologist briefs you dockside on turtle behaviour and responsible snorkel etiquette before boarding a fast rigid inflatable to the protected bay. In calm, crystal-clear water you'll hover above hawksbill and green turtles feeding on seagrass, often within arm's reach. Your guide identifies individual turtles by their unique markings and explains the sanctuary's conservation programme. A cold-water rinse, fresh fruit, and a personalised species identification card round off the experience back at the boat.
Good to know
All snorkel equipment (including prescription masks on request) is provided and sanitised. Departs 07:30 to catch turtles at their most active; back by 10:30. Non-swimmers can observe from the boat — a marine biologist narrates throughout.
