Schönbrunn Palace: Imperial Rooms, Gardens & Royal Maze

Walk the gilded halls of the Habsburgs' summer residence, stroll Europe's most majestic baroque gardens, and lose yourself in the centuries-old hedge maze. Schönbrunn is Vienna's ultimate imperial showpiece — a UNESCO World Heritage site that defines the city's grandeur.

What to expect

Your expert guide leads you through 40 state rooms, each dripping in Rococo gilding, imperial porcelain, and royal portraits. Step outside into the vast formal gardens, framing perfect symmetry all the way to the Gloriette hilltop colonnade. The hedge maze and labyrinth provide a playful counterpoint to the grandeur. In summer, the fountains and flower parterres are in full bloom — one of Europe's great garden spectacles.
