Walk on Bardi Jawi country at One Arm Point with Traditional Owners as your guides, learning to read the tide, hunt mud crabs, and hear the Songlines that have mapped this coastline for 50,000 years — a deeply moving, once-in-a-lifetime cultural immersion.
What to expect
An Elder leads a small group (maximum 10) along the mangrove-fringed shoreline of One Arm Point, pausing to demonstrate traditional mud-crab harvesting, bush-medicine plant identification, and spear-throwing technique. Afternoon tea features freshly caught seafood prepared the traditional way — cooked directly on coals. The session closes with a Songline storytelling circle overlooking the Kimberley sea country at golden hour, an experience both humbling and unforgettable.
