Drift above Cades Reef — Antigua's largest and most spectacular coral barrier reef, a protected marine park — aboard a premium crewed catamaran with a marine biologist on hand to narrate every encounter. Sea turtles, eagle rays, and kaleidoscopic reef fish await.
What to expect
The sleek 62-foot catamaran casts off from Redcliffe Quay with chilled Antiguan rum punches already in hand, sailing south along the leeward coast past Darkwood Beach to the national park boundary of Cades Reef. Two guided snorkel sessions — at the reef wall and a turtle cleaning station — are interspersed with a freshly prepared lunch of local pepperpot stew and fresh-caught tuna on deck. The sail back under spinnaker is the perfect denouement: hammock nets over the water, more rum punch, and a sky full of trade-wind cloud.
