Board a private wooden gozzo boat for a full circumnavigation of Capri, slipping inside the iridescent Blue Grotto and anchoring below the Faraglioni rock arches for a private swim. Pure Italian dolce vita.
What to expect
Your skipper navigates Capri's dramatic limestone coastline, ducking into sea caves and pointing out villas once owned by Roman emperors and modern celebrities alike. At the Blue Grotto, you transfer into a tiny rowboat and lie flat as the boatman pulls you inside — the electric-blue bioluminescent glow is otherworldly. A long anchor stop at a clear-water cove invites swimming and snorkeling directly from the boat. Fresh fruit, local wine, and antipasti are typically provided.
Good to know
Blue Grotto access depends on sea conditions and swell — the entrance closes in rough weather. Capri is best reached by private water taxi or hydrofoil from Naples. Pre-book the charter at least 2–3 weeks in advance in summer. Half-day charters typically run 4 hours, easily fitting within a port day.
