Amazon Jungle Night Walk & Black-Caiman Spotting Expedition

Venture deep into the Peruvian Amazon after dusk with a specialist naturalist to spot black caimans, tarantulas, and tree frogs by torchlight. One of the most thrilling wildlife encounters on the planet.

What to expect

Board a silent motor skiff at dusk as the river turns amber. Your expert naturalist reads the forest like a text — pointing out poison dart frogs, giant river otters, and the tell-tale red eyes of black caimans reflecting your torch. Step onto a private jungle trail to encounter tarantulas and giant walking sticks in their element. Return to the lodge for a nightcap of local cacao while howler monkeys serenade the canopy.
